The Pinkerton Diaries has finally arrived! Many hours were spent inserting Alone III and hand-numbering each book. If you have pre-ordered, your shipment will be going out on or before December 12.

Eeep! So excited!
Rivers! Looking forward to this (: Pinkerton has been a very controversial album that almost ‘killed’ Weezer but yet amazingly abrasive, coming of age like a teen getting around his puberty stage.
Any chance of this diary coming to Singapore? Would like to check it out (:

So excited! This is my favorite album of all time. It is a pure masterpiece and I don’t know why anyone would try to criticize it. Total and complete epicness, beauty, structure, and substance. Just perfect. I can’t wait to lock myself in my room and read this non stop!

Got my order processed, but I have to say it cost quite a lot to get it shipped to Indonesia. Don’t know about other countries, though.
It warms my heart to have the opportunity to read the Pinkerton Diaries. I am also happy to share the experience with my fellow Weezer fans.

Btw, shipping to Europe for the premium pack is 67$!!! +20% import tax. Makes 250$. That’s horrible. I must be one of the rare customers from Europe. Hope the pack is well worth this.
@Rivers/weezer, please get an alternative to Cinder Block for the European market. Their shipping costs are a total rip off. Another example: a weezer snuggie to Europe is 40$ (with tax 90$!). Please consider that for your fans. Epitaph was way cheaper and had great customer support. Thanks for reading.
They don’t normally ship to Indonesia, but Sarah managed to hook me up with Cinderblock’s people via email. They asked me to send my order, billing and shipping info and credit card details in separate emails for security reasons.
After sending and not hearing back for a few days, I sent an email asking about my order. I assumed they’d tell me how much it would all cost including shipping, before I gave the go-ahead to process the order and deduct payment. Next thing I know, my credit card’s been charged $42.99 for shipping, which is over half the price of the item itself.
It’s a good thing my credit limit was sufficient, but if it weren’t at the time I would at least like to have the chance to get the order processed when I could afford it, instead of them going ahead and charging me. And when the item arrives, I’m wary of having to pay another $25-35 at the post office, which could very well happen if the package turns out to be large and heavy. But I have faith that when the book finally arrives, it’ll make me forgot all about the cost. It seems to have been a real labour of love for Rivers.
@Hasief, have you finally received the book? How many days it took for delivery from the first time you ordered it? I am in Indonesia – Jakarta as well and so dying to have the copy of the book. Mind sharing the process and the total cost of arriving the book? Many thanks…
Freezer–agreed on Cinderblock–even their domestic USA rates leaves something to be desired, they really need to learn to negotiate their rates better!

Totally agree with Freezer (im from England), though im sure the books gonna be worth it. Anyway its out of the writers control how much tax is etc. So syked for the book!
The Pinkerton album was my favorite work of Weezer’s! I went to a concert of yours in Northern Cali about 10 years ago. …Had awesome seats. ..Made it to the show right before you guys were about to go on… Knew every word to every song. Seriously one of my favorite memories

Alone III is only available with the book, no plans to put it on iTunes.
Hey, I was wondering if a poor college kid like me could just buy the CD…I’m a big Weezer fan and I’d love to get the book but I don’t have that much money. Is there any way to just get the CD??

The lithograph was shipped separately from the rest of the package, so you should receive it in a day or two. If you do not, please contact Cinderblock using the contact info in your confirmation email.

Rivers & Sarah – The book, and the cd, are absolutely awesome. GREAT WORK! Of course, you realize everyone is going to want “sunshine-o” & “sheila can do it” now that you put the lyrics in the book but didn’t include the songs on the cd…just saying
my litho didn’t come yet, but if it was shipped separately hopefully it’s on its way. and does anybody know if cinderblock does exchanges for the shirt? my shirt is says Large but fits like a Small… :/

Rivers. Thankyou so much for allowing us to see the process (not only creatively but emotionally) behind what is undoubtley one of the beautiful and favourite album of mine and many many others. After reading I now understand why Weezer are the way they are without bearing a grudge of what was thought you would become. All the best.
